If a seller on Sedo as set an expectation price of eg, $150
Do they have to sell at that price if you offer it ?

Thanks !!!

@ Doodlebug, Yes, I believe if they set a price, and you match their price, they are legally bound to sell to you.

This is what is says in my Sedo account if I click on "price" if I want to offer a domain for sale:

Price:
You can set a price for your domain in this field. As soon as you enter a price, you are also required to choose the corresponding currency. It is also necessary to specify whether the price is a fixed price or open to negotiation ("make offer"). Leave the field blank if you wish not to specify a price (though you still need to specify a currency).

Keep in mind that no listings can exceed 10,000 USD/EUR/GBP. This policy is in place to help keep the marketplace fair and balanced for both buyers and sellers. If you believe your listing is worth more than 10,000 USD/EUR/GBP, please first order an Appraisal. Upon receipt of your appraisal, our Customer Support staff can manually change the price on your behalf.

Fixed price:
Offers are only accepted if they match your exact price. However, you are legally obligated to accept this offer. Should you decide to set a fixed price, please enter the fixed price in the "Price" field.

No price specified (leaving all fields blank):
All offers, irrespective of amount, will be forwarded to you.

Minimum offer:
This field is where you can specify which incoming offers are forwarded to you.

Once you have specified a minimum offer, all offers which do not match or exceed this amount will be automatically rejected by the system. Prospective buyers are then encouraged to make a higher bid. If the 'fixed price' option has been selected, entering a minimum offer will not be possible. Setting a minimum offer is not essential if you wish to sell your domain. You should only enter a minimum offer if you wish to filter out a large number of low offers.

Please note:
Entering a minimum offer is not the same as entering a reserve price for an auction. Any changes made through the My Sedo > Domain Management section of your account will not affect your Premium Auction application for the domain.

sellers price expectation is different to setting a fixed price.

If a seller has a price expectation, they can still ask for more than this when you offer that expectation. this has happened to me a few times.

If however it is a fixed price sale, they are forced by sedos rules to sell it for that price or in theory that is how it should be.

Thanks to you both.
I thought i had found a bargain, it does say sellers expectation
Ah well !!!
