Sedo redirects to offers site

I was checking one of my domains, and went to visit the domain parked on Sedo, instead of going to the parking page for the domain, it often redirects to this site offering an iphone, why is it doing this, Sedo, I'm parking in the hope of a sale, not to offer iphone competitions

Damn stupid if you are wanting to actually sell domains.

Lead > Inquiry > Sale.

@ Foz, thanks for the link, and yes, it's bloody stupid if the idea is to try and get a sale on a domain.

I've been thinking of removing this particular LLL from Sedo, as it gets 300 - 400 uniques per month parked, these are the figures since parking it last November:

3,290 uniques - 1,676 clicks

That's a 50.94% click through rate, sadly, it has only earnt €9.66 from those clicks lol, 70% of the visits are from India, so I'm wondering what I could do with the domain instead to see how to increase earnings, hmmm?

Isn't it just a case of selecting the right landing page template?

@ Martin, I have the same landing page template on all of my parked domains but, thinking about it, there are 3 different click types you can choose, I have it set to option "1" layout on all domains

When this domain is on that layout, it shows a different layout to my other domains, like a directory style, I think it's because these 3 letters aren't a generic term, so possibly lack of adds in the usual format and therefore it shows as a directory style listing.

Out of habit I always use the phoenix blue theme.

It's contemptuous for sedo to not direct the domain straight to the "for sale page" especially if you have a buy now price.I've been raising this issue for a few months now. You can change the settings in your account but going back over all domains and finding the culprits is time consuming, and of course the company doesn't make it easy.

Thanks, had actually seen/posted on that topic before, forgot about it, Sedo say on there:

To stop an individual domain from using Zero Click you can simply set the domain to the sales lander template.

That obviously doesn't work as the domain is set to a domain lander page.

All wrong ain't it, most people probably don't park for revenue, it's sales people want above all else.
