Sedo Pro: Edit Related Links

I really like this feature - it gives you the ability to target the vistor and i think my guesses are better than the automated sedo ones

but i dont want to edit every region seperately :???:
can we have an "ALL" selection in the drop down box? or a "copy links from" feature so when you've done one you can copy them all to another english speaking region setting?

Personally, i think, if they've got to one of my english domains then they probably speak english anyway

It's a fantastic feature... Was looking at it last night...

Reluctant to touch anything right now because of the way it's rockin'...

Will definately be 'tweeking the niches' along the line though...

Hi Charlie,

A good point. For the time being, we would say that it's best to optimize at least your key market in terms of the related links. If you have a domain with 85% UK traffic, then choosing related links for this market will be more than enough to ensure that the bulk of your visitors get what they're looking for.

The reason that there is currently no ''all'' button is because the links that you choose for the UK may be so unrelated to other markets that they may cause the CTR in, say, the French market to drop. However, this is only what our own tests have indicated. We will certainly place this in the suggestion box.

And on that note, if any SedoPro member has a suggestion, we would love to get it straight to our development team at [email protected]. You guys are the pros, so your input is priceless.

i understand the reasoning for non english sources but normally i end up doing the same lots for both UK and US market - my main source of traffic.

this is probably only an issue when you have low traffic like me - the related links dont get populated with relevant material so to 'catch' the visitor i need to edit all my links with my own suggestions

Hi Charlie,

I just wanted to update you on this issue. I've been working with the development team who also agreed that this would make things much simpler from an optimization standpoint. We are working now on implementing a default list, so that your related links will be edited for every region at once.

You will still have the option to edit each geo-region individually, but when the default links are set, then they will replace the pre-set links you have for each region automatically.

Will be interesting to see the effect that this will have on click through rates....
