I'm annoyed at your company because you're seemingly stalling the release of extra income, why I don't know. How long does it take to test something? so obviously I've been going namedrive lately.

But anyway, in this day and age do you think it might be worth doing telephone bidding for people who want quick decisions. At the moment it can take several days for a bidder to become a buyer or a time waster, how's about instant answers?

Sedo in the middle on the phone, buyer and seller on the other end, over and done within 15 minutes. Sorted. And with forms downloadable, transfers at sedo must be lightening fast now.

I had a bid last night, probably a wind up AS THE BUYER STILL DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT SEDO FEES AND THERE'S ISN'T MORE OPTIONS IN THE DROP DOWN BOX YET haha, but it would have been nice to close this bidder today rather than waiting.

For £70 / 10% you should really make a phone call as well. ;) Nominet do negotiation for free you could at least make some effort sedo, domain sellers who park and wish to sell are possibly wanting a better service these days, are you going to take the lead?

Cheers
Lee

PS: Thanks but I don't need a sedo pro code, I don't need the restrictions it requires.

Hi Lee,
Could you send us an email or a PM with the details?
What are we testing? And on which domain is the buyer bidding on? And why would he not know about the Sedo fees? Which drop down menu? As part of our transfer system, we do phone traders when necessary. Which domain are you transferring? Did you express your request to your tranfer agent? What does Nominet negotiate for free? What SedoPRO restrictions do you mean?
Thanks,
Your Sedo Team

You're testing sedopro still otherwise it would be on general release. I get amazingly fed up when I hear people are doing 110% better with sedo pro. So naturally I use namedrive who have the function already.

peaktours.co.uk probably just a wind up bid though, it was £100.

Is there a big statement saying "you're bidding £30 on this domain and £70 is being paid to us, are you sure you read our fees?" or something less cocky and more informative? also a note about transfer fees would help.

The one on the reply to bid page, take your top 50 'other requests to pass on' and just dump them in the drop down box, there's five replies you can add instantly. I talked about this months ago. i.e. buyer pays transfer fee of £30 + VAT or do a tick catalogue.

It's just a bid at the moment, I'm suggesting a service whereby you settle enquiries there and then. Sedo either takes seller's requirements and phones bidder or puts both on hold and does the deal there and then or gets rid of the crap.

In a DRS negotiation is free, you charge a fee for your services, perhaps that fee should include a phone call, you'd be surprised how successful a phone call and negotiation can be when things are explained to both parties properly and in a human fashion.

£100 a month or 250 parked domains isn't it? I just sold my top traffic domain as you do... but then I parked that with namedrive to get a better return than sedo because I don't have the whopping 110% sedo pro upgrade yet.
