Sedo has been down now for more than five hours, I noticed at 10.30am GMT today. Anyone know when/if it is likely to re appear?? Has this happened for so long before? Does it happen often??

sedo.co.uk and parked pages are not down from here.

Thats v odd because they are for me! .co.uk .com all parked domains, everything and has been for hours!! I have no problems accessing anything else at all, google, ebay etc...

Are you seeing 'cached' pages?? I get a 500 server error like they have a programming problem!?

Wonder if an ISP prob caching!!? I'm UK, freeserve/wanadoo/orange or whatever they like to call themselves!!

sedo

sedo ok for me. although something like what you experience ha s happened to me on aol, try opera, firefox ect if on cable or aol ,...zee

Ok sorted or kind of!! Its a freeserve/wanadoo/orange problem!! For some reason using their dial up access im not able to view or download sedo or ANYof the parked domains!!! Wonder if they have blocked it or its a tech problem for them??!!! Time will tell...

Still problems...

This is starting to bug me...My domains continue to show all down! The main sedo site is workable but i'm not able to look at how may domain pages display even through sedo!!

I'm not going to change ISPs just to access this one web site!! This must be a sedo server problem! Any suggestions?...

Problems...

Well I waited and waited....I still experience problems when using a freeserve/wanadoo/orange connection!! Sedo.co.uk is up most of the time (but not right now) but a lot of the time my parked pages are not!! Nothing else appears to be affected, just sedo!!

Does anyone else experience these kinds of problems? Down time on parked pages through sedo must be quite considerable at times?! I'm starting to wonder about possible revenue loss!! :( Similar experiences??

One simple way to tell if it your ISP that is the problem is try using a Proxy server to view the parked pages. I recollect there was similar problem reported some while back about Sedo pages not being viewable from Blueyonder (TeleWest) customers and it was down to routing tables at the ISP end. If it is the ISP that is the problem, report it as fault to them, you can't necessarily blame Sedo if their site is not viewable from certain ISPs.

Hope that helps.

Best Regards
