Saying a belated hello

Just wanted to say a rather belated hello... and apologies to anyone I offended by stomping in and starting trying to flog websites right off the bat

I have a list of about 130 domain names, which I'm trying to slim down, but I'm also just interested in learning more about the current domain market and how other people are getting on... Think some of my sites are pretty good, but haven't had much luck with sedo so far... I suppose they're only good if someone wants to buy them...but in the meantime, if I'm earning a living out of them that's ok...

Worst domain name mistake - well, I bought a few .eu addresses a few years ago thinking I was panning gold, and they completely bombed - I've found them really difficult to get up the search listings compared to .coms and .orgs, even with quality content. I still have some of them, lurking in my list reminding me not to give way to gold-fever again. Best domain - I'm hoping I haven't found it yet...

Ive just bought four .co's - hope they are a better bet than the dreaded .eu ... would be interested to hear what others think?

Hi lindap - shouldn;t worry too much - always best to lurk for a while to judge a sites etiquette. If by .co you mean .Columbia they are actually holding quite good at the moment - top single words around $5K to $10k. About 4 or 5 sold this week for $10K plus - it's only going to be worth trying to sell in the North or South American market though

I have to say I am not a fan of .co because when you see it on eg, a flyer televisions.co to me it looks like the m from .com as been accidentally left off.

But hey if you can get xx,xxx for them then congtratulations
