Wanted: Domain Appraisal RoadAtlases

Just registered RoadAtlases.co.uk after seing the new Ordnance Survey affiliate program.

Road and steet atlases - motorists road atlases - Ordnance Survey

Obviously due to sat navs the market is not as big as it used to be, but people are still searching for them and alot of people do prefer them!

Not a bad name really for reg fee! Will add it to the dev pile.

What are your views on the name?

Hard to make much on it with 140 exact match searches monthly unless you really build something big / new that takes it beyond its natural match keywords.

Generics are always good though.

quite a collectable item nowadays, iv seen some rare ones out there that fetch good money on ebay (by accident, i wasnt looking at them)

I wouldn't worry too much about the exact match; I have domains in the low hundreds of exacts that generate (small) regular affiliate earnings. Remember that once you have products etc. loaded up, then you will get bizarre long tail traffic that matches titles, descriptions etc. Try and add anything additional you can (but keep it related! They don't want mortgage quotes or double glazing!)

A good matching domain name can help earn trust, so that they don't bounce immediately!

Shouldn't you be using it to try to convert road atlas users to satnav - surely you'd earn more selling those than atlases?
