Hi, It seems to me that Google rely on the age the domain name when ranking. Do you think its related to how long the website has been live or the domain name registration date?

Lee

The date Google has for lml.co.uk is 11-1999 that isn't a date from the whois so I'd suggest it's the date Google first "saw" the site.

You can get the dates using the SEO for firefox extension.

Mm

Very clever MM.

Think about this one:-

My site landlordinsurance.co.uk has just been upgraded to a page rank 4 same as lml....but it doesnt appear in any first page result....is it because you need a page rank of 6 to get top for a competitive term like landlord insurance?

Lee

You don't need page rank to rank well Lee, page rank means very little in terms of search engine positioning.
