Anyone here hosted via or by Rapidswitch.com the servers have now been off since around 2pm yesterday no news or updates total downtime for sept 27hrs. any reccomendations for hosting companies.

The connectivity issues at Rapidswitch were caused by a firmware issue on one of their Sisco routers.

I received an email at 02:30 this morning to say the problems have been resolved and the network is back to normal.

My servers seem fine so far today... touch wood !!! I don't want to have another day of clients screaming at me

If you want a recommendation for a host for a server at that price point I have none but If you are willing to pay a bit more and get a better service I would say Layershift, KDA web services, Othello (if you can stand Rob) or Serverstream.

After the stunt they pulled with Poundhost customers I wouldnt touch RapidSwitch with a barge pole.

Its summed up with It’s kind of annoying because it was clearly spam email. Both unsolicited and bulk, and I don’t like the way they obtained my details.

Bloody Useless! strung me along for weeks about a server which never came to fruition then decided to ignore my emails. AVOID! imho.

Whats the big issue with rapidswitch spamming? poundhost are the muppets.

I can only appologise for what has happened. A unatherised e-mail was sent out from a volanteer working on my website, This mail was not autherised by me or my company and i wish to say sorry for this incident.
The person in question now has nothing to do with FPSGame ltd and safeguards have been put in place to prevent this happening again.

I am sure you understand that i knew nothing about this untill i logged on this morning to find both my website taken down and multiple mails of complaint.

I have made this my personal mission to appologise to each person this was sent to.
