Just a quick question if I may please, can a solicitor be instructed to set up a an executor account on behalf of an executor?

Thanks in advance
Lee

Short answer Yes... Depends on the context of the question this may help . Due to the technicalities of probate law or, all too commonly, family disagreements or disputes, executors may instruct probate solicitors and lawyers to assist with the administration...

Executors should set up an account solely for the purpose of dealing with the estate so that any money paid to the estate is easy to see.(under english law they are responcible for any tax etc )

Remember person or persons named as executors are not legally required to accept their appointment as executor....
