As an add-on to Doddlebugs "sales regets" thread.
It's interesting to read the regrets - I would have thought most- if not all regrets would have come from seeing, with hindsight who the buyer was (I try never to look - retrospectively)
We all see those marvellous 'top-draw' sales (the icloud baby) but I do wonder how much work each of us put in; approached unsolicited. Forgetting the "needs - must" moments when a sale is the difference between eating or not eating (been there) . But in response to a comfortable sale-no sale moment.
Admittedly I'm a domainer with time on my hands - but, I honestly can't remember when an enquiry dosen't prompt near a days work (at least) and I can't see how any of us can really deliver a realistic (market aware) valuation otherwise.
