15p Print was launched in early 2005. At this point l was just starting a web design business and was trying to think of ways to offset the cost of buying a £300.00 colour laser printer (sad l know)
I had the idea that other people were in the same position as me. They wanted cheap colour printing, but didnt want to pay 50p a copy or go a print house and order 1,000s. So l started 15p Print.
15p Print, Cheap Colour Printing & Copying from 15p Print, does exactly what is says. Full colour, 100gsm, single sides printing for 15p per A4 sheet. The website also have the option for other paper weight and sizes.
All the printing is done our the office colour laser (which we brought for £120.00). Its a fast, simple and easy make to make some extra cash.
The Website
- A simple clean and easy website
- Orders come through on email, you just need to work out the postage and send an invoice with PayPal link
- All artwork is uploaded online via FTP during the ordering process

- No money is spent on marketing (£0.00)
- All traffic is organic and we are on page 1 (position 1) of MSN for "cheap colour copying" and other relevant terms.

- We currently receive 3 / 4 orders a month of which we secure 2 jobs.
- All printing is completed on a HP Colour Laser 1600 (cost about £120.00)
- The price the customer is quotes excludes postage and they know this is calculated seperately
Please Note : We are UK based and therefore the final selling price will attract VAT at a rate of 17.5%
Revenue Details:
Over the last 11 months we have orders for over £1,800.00. I do not konw the exact profit margins as we simply take the order and print, ordering new toner when required.
When l first started l did work out that each print costs 3p plus 1p paper, therefore a profit margin of 11p per page.
Traffic Details:
Minimal traffic as we do not advertise however on average we get 60 - 70 visitors per month.
