My mate just bought himself a black Gallardo for his birthday. Poor sod.

Sweet, those things are tiny!
That's some birthday present & wallet :)

More importantly, what does he do that lets him have the readies for such a motor !?

That's not annoying, that's "well done, fella"

Too many people in this country get jealous and annoyed, when they should be working to sort it out rather than just moan.

Lets hope it was a cash sale and not on credit.

Too many people with flash cars but actually never own them ;)

I wasn't mocking him, he works bloody hard and is successful with it. Funny thing is that he said "oh don't tell anyone it's a bit embarrasing" yeah right, thats why you bought one of those.

Looking forward to my first ride in it. Also he'll be taking it to a few tracks as well so it won't be sat around doing nothing.

I didn't mean you were having a go at him; I know that everyone here is willing to do what it takes to succeed, rather than snipe at the successful. Unfortunatley large sections of society see it as their right to bring successful people down :-(

Come and pick me up ratman! I will show you how to corner at 150mph

If I pick you up i'll have no wheels left to corner on!!!! :)

Nice car, mate of mine drives around the village in a black one just the same.

Maybe at the lower end but for a 100k car you would get a good rate (as you would be able to afford the car) and you can then invest that 100k elsewhere and make a greater return.

I agree, for larger amounts it's normally better to finance and use the cash elsewhere.
