I have a PR6 .org.uk domain available, PA55 / DA47, with a fantastic backlink profile (7,749 ref domains, inc 129 edu and 88 gov.uk).

Domain is in the UK politics / government / establishment sector. Domain with holding page is currently ranking above the new site. Could make either a great backlinking site, or the basis of an excellent new political / satirical site, if you're that way inclined!

Please PM for the domain.

The domain you PM'd to me is a PR6 on firefox SEO plugin I use, but is only a PR1 using proper tools I have used for years. I would advise against anyone buying this on the strength of it being a PR6, it definately is not and never has been a PR6 domain. I couldn't find any evidence of fake PR but that does not mean it is not there. The domain you PM'd me is PR1 and has never been above.

Anyone who genuinely knows what they are doing should be able to see what happened with this domain. I'd expect any serious domainer to do their proper research on any for sale thread, rather than bodge-job hack research. I don't feel like I should have to explain it for that reason, but seeing as though you've tried to ruin my thread, I guess I'll have to.

Both the http:// and www. domain were PR6 all the way through to change of government in 2010 (the site had been live since pre-2000). In 2011, the site was moved from this domain over on to the independent.gov.uk domain. The www. of this domain was 302'd to the new site, the http:// root was not, and has been offline ever since. As such, in the 2 years since, the PR of the http:// has slowly dripped down to 1 (this can be seen on domaincrawler.com). This means nothing - anyone who wants to use this domain will set up their site on the www to benefit from the PR, and ensure the http:// 301's to the www. Every single one of the 54000+ backlinks to the site goes to the www domain.

This obviously grey area here is the old 302 redirect on the www. Anyone interested in this domain can do their research and make their own mind up, I'm not forcing anyone to buy it. The domain had 11 active years as an official government / establishment website, and the backlinks folks will find in their research will speak for themselves.

You quite blatantly have no idea what you are doing.

I know exactly what I'm doing.

Why didn't you mention all the above in your original post? The domain IS NOT a PR6 domain and you claimed it is. Some people might buy this on the strength of your claim of it being a PR6 when it clearly is not.

From what I've seen of your posts, sorry, you don't know anything & you shouldn't be commenting on sale threads with your inaccurate nonsense.

2 general things anyone who knows anything would check.

The link profile, are most of the links still in tact. Yes

Is the domain ranking for it's name: Yes, it's #2 behind wikipedia + it's ranking above various very strong government sites & all it has on it is a landing page currently.

That tells you everything you need to know about how genuine it's link profile is.

Either you are trainwrecking my thread through pure ignorance and amateurism, or you have a different agenda. Either way, you are bang out of order. This is an extremely high quality domain and, until Google tells me otherwise, it is a PR6. Even regardless of PR, any professional domainer / SEO would take a look through the numerous PR5 and PR4 backlinks to this domain, amongst the other genuine 54,000+ backlinks, and see the quality here.

Thanks Murray, appreciate it.
