The site is basically a blog/portal about train tickets, train news and any offer/discount related to train tickets I can fine.

I created a guide about cheaper train tickets and it has been linked to 462 times! And its also been referenced in print by The Civil Service Pensioners' Alliance.

Yahoo explorer reports 503 backlinks, id say 98% of them are one way.

And it ranks top 10 for more or less anything within it's niche

The traffic averages 100-150 uniques per day with a bounce rate of 50.79%

In terms of revenue, my original goal was not to include any affiliate links as I didnt want to get penalized early on but I did use the virgin trains affiliate programme when it was on cj.com and It brought in £32,000 of sales but only £36 of commission.

Recently included mega trains affiliate links and £631.90 total sales but commission is £12

The site has great potential if anyone wants to continue, and maybe include raileasy or thetrainline

Looking for £xxx PM ME for url

so your selling a site which has made £48 for £x,xxx ? or was that a typo and you meant £xxx ?

re

The site has excellent authority within it's niche, and ranks well for many terms.

Will take £1,100 BIN price

Will push to namecheap same day

I know, its horrible, only £4 a lead, Even 1% would of been better

So are you saying you made 9 train ticket sales that totally £32,000, so over £3,500 per sale on average?

I knew rail travel was getting expensive, but are you sure?

Is that 9 season tickets or something? Sounds odd, can you post the reports at all?

Season tickets to the moon perhaps?

There's obviously something wrong with your stats, can you check them again and post them here if possible?

I would consider buying this if you can do that, thanks

Hi

I've checked and they seem to be correct.

It's just really low commission, i thought maybe business were buying tickets for conferences or season tickets or something similar.

But here is the screen shot of some of the sales, take a look

So almost all these sales happened in one 5 day period in October 2009, but there was basically nothing before or since?

I think you were robbed on the comms though.

Ye

When I joined the Virgin Trains programme on cj, by time I'd sent the traffic through the aff links, I had an email saying the campaign had been caused ad the budget had been reached, so I kinda lost out.

Great though this thread is, it's a bit irritating talking about a mystery site, and it's also against the sales forum rules. I'd like to request that the OP names his site or that a mod deletes the thread.

Thanks

Speak for yourself Ty !

It reminds me of eastenders but slighly better - waiting in anticipation for the next installment of what is going to happen, the mysterious angle of not knowing why it has performed so badly, the build up to the big reveal - all makes great reading :)
