Wanted: Domain Appraisal PowerSchool - Possible TM Issue?

PowerSchool.co.uk

Pearson runs a Student Information System by this name 'PowerSchool' and they own the '.com','.net'.... versions.

Wasn't aware of any of this when I regged it but found out subsequently. If i don't use it on the same lines as Pearson would there be TM issues or should I just let it be.

Trademarks cover certain classes of business. You can check the Pearson trademark at ipo.gov.uk.

You should be OK to use the domain for anything not covered by the trademark.

With this type of domain, I put up my own holding page, saying "This site is awaiting development. For enquiries contact [email protected]".

It can be dangerous leaving it as a parked page like the GoDaddy Holding page, as ads are displayed, and they could possibly infringe the trademark.
