I have posted some articles on ezinearticles and press release websites. I want to know if poting the contents on my own website rather than on ezinearticles, press release websites and others is less beneficial from SEO view?

Although both the pages will be PR0 ?

re:

Posting the article both on Ezinearticles and at your own site can cause duplicate content issues so I would avoid.

Posting on Ezinearticles can give you a couple of backlinks to the home page and sub page of your site.

However, unless the keyword phrase you are targeting is long tail or has low competition, that link won't give you much movement in the serps.

Depends what you're after. Creating content for your own site is more beneficial in the long run assuming the content is relevant and worthwhile, as in, something that people will read. More content on your site = more longtail opportunities in terms of rankings. Probably won't actually attract as many links as spamming article directories however unless your content is of really high quality.

Regardless of the recent panda update, article spinning still works pretty well. Not something I'd suggest for any of my clients in my day job but it does work still.

Bitingly harsh, but an example of prime forum self-moderation ;)

I have reported a few posts and its disappointing to see the same authors under 'new posts' adding cruft to basically gain a dofollow link in their profiles.

Take vikasbook in this thread as well :(

These miscreants need banning - and lively. I think Alan needs some new mods. Paul is great, but there's too little filtering of lingering shite on here.

....and stop the dofollow. If people post here to gain a link, is that really the type of people worth having?
