These look like good names, but I haven't the foggiest about asian domain values... Edwin might be your man.

This is all in my opinion.

Recent aftermarket sales of indian domain names show that .co.in is without a doubt the much stronger extension.

Reason for this is .co.in is an already established ccTLD where as .in is relatively new.

The majority of your keyword .co.in are TM's, you have an amount of 3 char, but if I run a scan there are still 1000's available for registration at this time.

On this basis alone (on the indian domains only), but collection isn't worth a great deal.

.co.in's are keepers at this moment in time and it's really not worth letting them go for a few £'s above the registation fee.

.in is still an unknown quantity...there area lot of resellers buying .co.in domains (very few .in) but they have to be good really good keyword domains....then they simply get locked up and forgotten about.

Resale prices are still relatively low, but there have been some fairly high end user sales.

There's some very nice .co.in's free to reg - what language is best tho?

Hundi, Urdu or Gujrati?

It's gonna be a busy day :p

Right it's Hindi - but there are far too many 5star names available to reg - there must be a catch somewhere.

.co.in & .in don't seem to get much traffic, based on Sedo's listings

Also it looks like .in is the better of the two

Does anyone know the difference?

Check overture for .in domanis compared with .co.in ... co.in is the established ccTLD.

Example:

www.google.co.in (google india)
www.google.in (Nothing)

Another:

www.hotmail.co.in (Hotmail)
www.hotmail.in (Nothing)

Quote from DNJournal.com
Off the beaten track, India's .co.in continues to make some noise. Jeff Williams sold DVD.co.in for $1,750 and in a pair of smaller transactions another seller picked up $250 each for Exercise.co.in and Investor.co.in

Elsewhere, .co.in aficionado, Jeff Williams continues to do well with the Indian country code extension. He sold 28 domains in that TLD last week for a total of $26,500, just under $1,000 each.

Check google for ".co.in", you will notice MSN, HSBC and a lot of other major payers using the .co.in extension, for .in there are relatively few.

Making the choice based on Sedo's stats is the wrong way to go.

Mainly the .in's making traffic will be typos of established .co.in sites (The ones getting the real traffic)
