Did a site a few years ago for a tyre company trying to break into the uk market research found that there are basically two types of buyers those that stuck with brands (e.g. they know which tyre Goodyear, Dunlop, type, model etc that they. want and tended to go to brand sites ),and those that go to high street retailer and didn’t really care as they only bought tyres when they needed them
Any Internet sales were nearly none existent as shipping cost and having to then get the tyre fitted if you could...? outweighed any potential savings… as its not the higher level type domain think you would be putting in large amount of work for very little chance of return
