PhysicalEducation .co.uk

Just caught this one, and was just thinking of both potential value and potential end users. Is there much value here? I've seen similar education/subject domains get sold to Universities who specialise in it, so maybe that's a route to look at.

Any thoughts or ideas?

I think the reason you never got any response for this one is because you have basically summed it up yourself.
The domain is clearly descriptive so leaves little room to offer anything further.

the .eu .com .net .org.uk .info are all registered so clearly a popular term.

Price ... end user, mid xxx to low xxxx
If you are prepared to hold for anything up to 10 years.

Thanks websaway :) I also found this morning that PhysicalEducation.com sold in 2012 for $5,500 which tallys well with a high-£xxx or low-£xxxx bracket if I can find the right buyer. The buyer was a supplier for PE equipment in the US, perhaps there could be similar interest over here? I'm going to put some legwork in, see what I interest I can muster around the low-£xxxx area.

I would do some Google searches along the lines of the following:

intitle:"physical education" site:.co.uk
"physical education" "contact us" site:.co.uk

Might turn up a few leads for potential buyers. I wouldn't expect to get into the £x,xxx region based on the few quick searches I did, though.

I've been thinking about it.

If I saw this domain FTR would I register it, I wouldn't, because I can't think of or find an obvious buyer.

It's not a terrible domain by any means, but it's just tough to think who would want it and be prepared to pay some decent money.

Very handy indeed! Thanks Edwin.

I own SportsAndFitness.co.uk which is a similar name and heavily used phrase especially with local authorities and gyms but it didn't even make £50 at auction despite me e-mailing a lot of end users.

That's a nice domain mate, surprised that didn't sell for £50 :/ I'd be surprised if you didn't get an enquiry out of the blue for that in the xxx range.

Brutal Murray :D But I take your point regards potential buyers.

I'll give this a bash and see what happens. I'll set up a "for sale" holding page, email different groups of potential buyers, and see if I get any response at all...

I agree with Murray & Edwin. Nothing pops into mind, and the fact I never once said Physical Education (I said PE) doesn't help. So a quick Google search, Edwin is right, Bitesize revision, no ads.

The only thing of commercial value is recruitment "physical education jobs". Break into that and it gets 210 searches a month - hardly worth it.

On that note. Edwin (I think) and others have done EMD studies (root orange/media options) that confirm the obvious (people click on EMDS or URLS similar to their search term). The problem is, the main keyword you would be missing is "jobs" (or recruit etc).

SCRN not really needed, but trying not to be harsh for the sake of it :)

Hope that is of some use.
