Personal insults and swearing

Are there any forum rules about the personal insults and swearing?

Just wondered because a certain post I made this afternoon has earned me good rep and nice comments from several respected forum members and 1 negative rep and abusive comment telling me to f**k off.

I couldn't care less about someone giving negative rep, I do it myself where appropriate, but the swearing is not called for.

I have started dishing out warnings, I wont tolerate swearing and name calling, anyone please send me a PM if you are getting this and I will not hesitate to ban the offenders.

I have banned the member who told you to f off for 7 days, since he ignored my requests to be civilised.

My mindset has been South London for far too long so swearing is par for the course for me in every other sentance, but it wasn't me.

It is the usual course when you point out gaping holes in peoples posts - they aint happy.

I have had it before with that nadeem azam (azam.biz) muppet - apparently one of the nicest guys in affiliate marketing over at A4u forums however point out one of his ripped off sites / dodgy sales and you get pages of vitriol sent to various people and posts which he himself was so ashamed of he requested deletion He left me erm 'informative' reputation on a post I made... but sadly didnt have the balls to contact me or post explaining the problems people had with his dubious sales

Hopefully the banning will calm Norville down abit and then we can move on - its always good to have a decent debate rather than toys being thrown out of the pram

As my ban has been lifted I think that I should answer this post.

Fred after the second negative feedback you left for me, you was simply told if you dont like me, you can use your block and never have to worry about me again.

Yes you was told to F off but when you put comments etc as negative feedback towards myself, then really that was being polite.

You are an adult and have that option to put me on ignore so please free to do so.
