Wanted: Website Review Pearlhosting.co.uk - Your thoughts?

Hi all,

Just put this site together this evening and wondered what your thoughts are on the design and layout etc. I used a template as a base but changed a lot of the things for my needs.

Planning on keeping it and trying to build it up. Unless the right offer comes along of course.

I like the design however it could be improved to more finished look, heres something I made up for an idea...

Thanks. I totally agree with the logo at the top, that was where is was originally but I fiddled a little too much.

Great advice from Joeyl, especially the bit in the middle.

From a seo & serp ctr point of view consider changing your homepage title to "Pearl Hosting | Cheap Website Hosting with Unlimited Bandwidth & Storage"

i think the front page is lacking depth ,it needs more content and call-to logo's in the middle ,and the footer is week ,looks nice though clean design.


i noticed the special offers section is left and the Plan Specifications is more "center" (yanks centre) or looks that way

me likes the color (yanks colour)

Had a bit of a fiddle round and made a few changes. I still don't feel it is 100% finished but i'm happy for the moment

FAQ link at the bottom goes to 404. Worth putting at least a holding page.

Where are your terms and conditions, legal status/name, trading address etc? Also, as also mentioned on another thread on here the other day, can you realistically afford to offer 'truly unlimited' hosting?

In the website's current form, I think it will really struggle to convert any visitors into sales. It doesn't look like a professional business which is around for the long term, and the prices seem to reflect that.

Fixed the link, thanks for pointing that out. I always seem to miss one or two of those.

Re: wb, at the moment unlimited is totally fine. I will of course have to look at things if someone like Youtube decide they want to host. Sending you a PM for most details

take a look at uk2. has the same type of offering, similar page style but theirs does it all above the fold and not quite as bold
