Hi All,

I have requested and recieved permission to post this on here from Admin.

I am currently writing a book about passive income that will hopefully provide people with tips and knowledge on how they can create a passive income to escape 9-5 living.

Essentially the concept is that your time is your most valuable asset and it is not the most efficient use of your time to work 40+ hours a week for your only income source. I aim to show people there are alternatives.
Some of the things I will be covering are the more traditional passive incomes like investing, high interest savings, rental properties etc etc.

However what I find much more interesting and will be much more accessible to the majority of the population is the more modern examples of passive income, niche market websites, affiliate marketing, ebook authorship even things like viral youtube videos.

I think a lot of folk on here will already have a passive income and I was hoping some of you would like to share your stories, some may be featured in the book if you let me but really I just want to get a feel for what others have done in this area.

Probably the best way is to research web sites and try and get information from people which you can then publish and make a load of money.

However, no matter how entertaining these publications may be, they usually cause people to be in a worse situation than they were before buying it.

Yes, its a sizable task, the idea is to condense the key principles and actions required and provide guidance on the things I think are most effective.

Traditional methods will not be given as much verbage as the more modern examples.

Not to be negative about the whole thing, but isn't it better to write about what you know? If your book relies on tying together a series of anecdotes from third parties, it's going to be a lot less credible than a book that explains exactly how you set yourself up with a series of passive income streams, and therefore how others can emulate your success...

Trouble with that is, that any one person cannot be an expert on a multitude of ways to make money, so better to ask those who are.

Not a fan of these type of things “how to make money” “get rich type” things are often totally immoral praying on the often desperate and sadly majority uneducated or mainly people that lack any imagination common sense or the greedy the latter though desereve them. Simple get a job, supply service or fufill a need in the market only one line should cover that...

There are thousands of them offering useless schemes with little hope of them achieving anything other than making the author rich or often the publisher fooling the author into parting with there cash to produce them lol as by there very nature that’s what there for if not then they could simply put them online free for all to take advantage of them..

They should simply be titled “How to make money” with one page simply saying “sell a book like this “ the other pages empty so you can rip out the first write it in yourself then sell it on…


Btw have some wonderful ideas on a ponzi scheme if anyones interested send me your $$ I let you in on the ground...

It does seem that there are enough "info products" on the subject out there to make a stack that would reach the moon. They will sadly continue to find an audience since people are ALWAYS looking for a magic short cut to riches.

The exception that proves the rule. It's an excellent book, full of details and specific information and not a hint of get-rich-quick-itis...

it is not intended to be a get rich quick kind of thing. my first chapter is basically spent telling those seeking a get rich quick to jog on!

The point of it is going to be, its not easy, you will need to invest time money and energy but it can be done! you don't need to be a genius, hardened entrepreneur or anything but you will need to put in some graft!
