Value lies in development. .co typically 1% the value of .com but it is becoming more valuable.
As popular as the tld gets, it is always going to be Colombian.
I have seen alot of .co sites ranking high and in some cases higher than the .co.uk version, but still it isnt a "correct" tld for UK use and its value is always going to reflect that.
I see no harm in putting affiliate sites on them though and milking them for aslong as possible!![]()
Might be so, might not be so - I'm not a great believer in "always" ...
Wasn't .com the US TLD?
No .com has always meant .commercial, just the yanks where more reluctant to adopt their ccld .US as and when it became available - although thats very slowly changing.
I have to agree with Mat on the reseller side of things .Co indeed have sold for some good prices where they either directly appeal to the Colombian Market (which is quite large and relatively popular) or have overwhelming American generic value. Dnjournal.com has archived all the public sales of .Co
I could imagine words/domain like 'red.co' or 'joe.co' holding that "snappy" appeal
