I've had some interest in this with a couple of offers too. Was going to hang on to it for a while but what do you guys think to it?

Ought:

Used to indicate duty or correctness, typically when criticizing someone's actions: "they ought to respect the law".
Used to indicate a desirable or expected state: "he ought to be able to take the initiative".

I personally can't think of anything obvious that it could be used for and therefore wouldn't put much value on it. I would take low XXX offers if it was mine.

Thanks, that's around what I've been offered. Shame though, it 'ought' to be worth more. :)

Where did you receive your offers, sedo, acorn, your own site etc? Would you be willing to provide proof to admin?

If you really have had a couple of low XXX offers in the few days it has been registered, then they must be pretty desperate to get it and you have a gem.

Someone posted on the 'what was your last regged domain' thread that they were interested.

Shows how subjective it can be.
For me a generics value starts inherently and I must be able to at least visualise a use.
I would not register it and can't see a use for it.

Thank you for all your valuable input. A price has been agreed, just waiting for the sale to be finalised.

Yep I am a little baffled here too. I can't see it working well as a brand as it doesn't roll off the tongue well enough for me personally. Will be interesting to see how much this sells for..

I can't see what possible use this would have. It's not a particularly radio friendly word as a brandable either.

I notice this domain hasn't been transferred as yet?

I would have thought with you geting two low xxx offers in thr few days after registration that your buyers would have wanted to complete asap.

Its only been four days. Put your fishing rod away.

Thank you for your continued interest in this domain Caz' but the details of its sale and transfer are the business of myself and the buyer.

Sincere regards. David.

I think this was mine until recently but I let it drop. So I don't value it but good luck.

Not meaning to dump on your thread but names like this can quickly fill up a portfolio and the renewal fees can eat into profits from other names (especially when you have several hundred).

If the sale works out for you, my advise is take the profits and then stay clear of marginal dictionary words in future.

Thanks WW and although I know just what you mean and in some respects I agree but I'm also of the opinion that 'one mans poison is another mans medicine'. Something that may not seem tot have any value one minute could be an inspiration to others the next. IMO domains such as this one are worth keeping for at least a year or 2.
