Hi Admin,

I was wondering if you could seperate the co.uk from org.uk?

Thanks
DB

I'm assuming he means separate sections. I have no interest in orgs either.

And what is especially annoying is when people specifically label a thread as being .co.uk when the majority of the names listed in the title are actually .org.uk & me.uk

....without naming any recent examples of this sort of blatant time wasting in the Domain Name Offers Invited section of course.

thats it you guys get the idea, I am looking at this from buyers point of view, i am sending a few end users to this site and they said its littered with garbage org.uk end users dont use .org.uk!

Please can we seperate them, doesnt make any sense listing them with co.uk.

I think it will increase sales for people if you did this.

Thanks
DB

I guess thats a no then admin ;) boo

any way of not seeing any org.uk? just think of all the time i would save ;)

I realise some people like to stick with the classic .co.uk, and that's fine :), but there's no point in bashing .org.uk, especially since recently there have been a number of very respectable sales. And this can only be a good thing for ALL .uk domains, be they .org.uk, .co.uk or .tabascosauce.uk ;)

But if some people really don't like .org.uk that much, feel free to send your domains to me so I can add to my .org.uk stash ;)... And perhaps a donation to admin and he'd install specific forums for you....

I agree with devolution and 3 years from now it will be me.uk's.

The last frontier. :D

.

We're not saying get rid of them, just separate out.

Exactly !!!

I accept they may well have value etc etc, It's just that for me personally and it seems I'm not alone am just not interested in wasting my time looking through lists of them any more than I would with .com's included. I buy/sell/collect co.uk's and that's all I'm interested in looking at currently. That may change at some point, but then I'd seek out the others...

There has been many a time when I've seen a big list and spotted something I'm interested in only to find that it's an org.uk.

Yes agreed, all these boys with org.uk talk utter crap, they miss lead the forum with "come look at my co.uk", then when you look its org.uk.

That says it all right there, if they had all this value why try and fob them of as co.uk so people read the thread.

Any way, if they were seperate it will increase sales all round for people.

And i wouldnt have a look at one more . f**king org uk!

Here Here!
<rant>And can we have a dunce icon for users, when you advertise wanting a .co.uk and people still post " I have ..... .org etc....
READ THE POST!!!! Aaargh! </rant>

If people are misrepresenting the domains they have for sale, then delete their threads and if it persists, then kick them out. The way things are at present, everyone should be using the drop down signifying the domain type. If not, then they are spoiling it for everyone.

If there was to be a change, I would suggest completely getting rid of the sales threads and using the Domain Classified section, which is a totally underused function.

Removing (no prefix) and .uk from the drop down may help.

would just be easier seperate for me, but i guess admin must accomadate everyone..
