Are you suggesting that you expect to get "servers.co.uk" or "webhosting.co.uk" for £1xxx?!

I am not clear on what you want because of your counter examples. I would have thought that "ukwebhosting" would have been at the upper limit of your stated budget.

Perhaps you could clarify your interest a bit further?

Sure, I can clarify what I meant.

I'm looking for computer components + online services such as photo hosting to form the bases of a larger project.

I would not be looking for generics such as servers/webhosting in the .co.uk extension but rather the .org.uk. For domains such as Inkjet Cartridges / Blank Media I would expect in the .co.uk extension and be within my budget.

I will generally do not state comments on "domains wanted" but this time it is necessary. What Hayward says that you CAN NOT buy those example domains or similar generics with your budget. You can not buy inkjetcartridges.co.uk for a miserable £1,000. You set a bad example to potential buyers since they probably check other domain wanted ads before making offers.
