For future reference, if you can't obtain the previous whois info for a name you've just picked up, just give Nominet a call and say you've had numerous abusive phone calls by various people claiming to have owned the name prior to you and they will give the previous owner details.

This happened to me recently and Nominet were quite helpful, I did have the historic whois info but never told Nominet this and they gave me the previous owners whois details, my reason for calling them was that it was a balls up by Nominet and the name went straight from suspended with the dns still active to owned by me, hence the abusive calls. In the end they re-regged the name back to the previous owner who subsequently renewed it.
