Ok so where should I move my .uk's to from 1and1?

Their slow as fark system is just really annoying me now. I have around 30 doms there and DNS changes take forever, regging a new name is slow as anything and they are generally rubbish.

Any suggestions? Not looking to pay much more than I currently do...

You may be best off paying the bulk transfer fee to move all your domains from there, otherwise it could take days to administer them all with their damn interface...(!)

ironically there system for moving tag is the easiest I have seen for mass tag changes.

Although it does take a day or 2 to complete, the actual manual workload involved is very small.

But where to move them to depends on what you need, hosting, just to renew them or databases etc.

I don't need hosting at all, I just need a good reliable registrar with cheap bulk prices and a good interface.

Anybody have any suggestions?

I have been with 1 & 1 for years and I'm just not happy with them at all. But I doubt they are going to go out of business any time soon, which is good

The problem is that there are only a few alternatives if you want to stay with a large UK firm.

But a good reliable registrar with cheap bulk prices and a good interface is probably impossible to find, I think, as they all have their problems.

I have over 300 domains with 1 and 1 and I plan to move a proportion (75% perhaps) to a few of the big companies - 123reg, Fasthosts and poss. Daily.co.uk (although its not that big) just so I don't have all my eggs in one basket.

I use UKreg without any problems at all and have done for years.
