Hi – in new to this forum.
I’m writing software to use Nominets Automation system to catch domains as they drop.
Nominet.co.uk says that for PGP Signatures: ‘The date/time of the signature is checked to ensure that it was not created in the future or more than 72 hours before receipt of the message. If it is out of date then the operation is rejected.’
As I haven’t got a clue how to programmatically work with cryptography I plan to statically include a (pre-generated) signature with the registration email. As long as the signature is < 72 hours old will this work or does a new signature need to be generated the second the email is sent?
Also, how long does it take to become a registrar – get at TAG and register your PGP keys? – I haven’t started this process yet.
Many Thanks,
Max
