So it appears we can reg for 1 year (that means cheaper dropcatching - £3.50 for 1 year) and you can register a domain for up to 10 years!

Great news for the registrars - i wonder how many of the larger companies will pass this saving down to their customers.

There's no saving - pricing is the same for years 2-10 and more expensive for just 1 year than it is now.

Very true, think the main benefits of this are cheaper dropcatching and longer reg because sometimes it's a pain to renew all the domains you wish to keep.

Also good for sites if you wish to experiment ideas (but only by a very minor amount).

If you need to save £1.50, then I'd suggest perhaps your margins are too tight

I spend over £35k on renewals per year just on the TLDs. Having 2 year reg on .co.uk is what attracted me to them as longer time to get a return to pay for the reg fees.
