NewNet As Registrar - £ 20.00+VAT for a TAG Change

Hi

Made the mistake a registering a name I use for my business with these guys, having now got my own TAG - thought a quick email to them to change the TAG so I can manage the renewal myself would do it ?

Err no - not only do want a form to be filled in - faxed off to them but they want £20.00 plus VAT as well.

I'll be going to Nom. to do this one and saving myself £ 10.00 plus VAT.

Considering it's an automated request and £20 is probably the cost of scripting a tag change, a bit much aint it. I think we should all start reading terms and conditions, these bods in support are all too quick to use t&cs when a problem arises which isnt a problem to them.
