Wanted: Service newbish question about Stats

Have this site and im trying to determin the rough number of unique visitors?

(is visits unique visitors-ish )


Does anyone know how good webalizer is or if stats can be manipulated?

here is screen shot of stats, ive had site since may 07 and it seems consistent.

I would install 'awstats', a much more comprehensive statistical tool which makes reading your log files a thousand times easier!

Or Google Analytics, you'll get excellent data that you can use.

I think for webalizer its the "Sites" figures in orange that are meant to represent visitors but they are not that reliable.
