I have managed to work out how to register domains, I can even set up a website. Now I want to sell my domains or make at least £1500 a month fom them in any way possible (except from sales generated).

I really would like to know what direction to take next, if I could sell my whole list of domains at once that would be perfect, although one of my domains generates sales for my main line of work so not sure what to do with that as its really a business in its own right.

I would like to ask for some guidance in either the best way to sell my domains either as blocks, the whole collection or individually. Or how I may quickly generate income from the domains.

Do any members here run a service for a percentage where all the work is done for me?

cctvpro.co.uk
cctvprofessional.co.uk
cctvprofessional.com

coverts.biz
coverts.co.uk (website running)

face-recognition.co.uk
intelligent-cctv.co.uk

ipcctv.co.uk (website online)
ipcctv.info
ipcctv.mobi
ipcctv.uk.com
ipcctv.uk.net
ipcctv.org.uk

wimaxcctv.co.uk
wimaxcctv.com
3gcctv.co.uk
microscopecamera.co.uk
biometric-access.co.uk

Thanks in advance for any advice given, should anyone want the full list please PM me :)

The best way to realise full value from your domains is to send out letters to potential end users asking if they are interested in making an offer on the domain. This is only going to be worth the effort if you have good domains in the first place of course. Looking through your initial list, I feel cctvpro.co.uk has most chance of a sale. It's short and catchy. If you sent out letters to 30 or so CCTV related companies you might get a response.

I think it also helps to build a site where you can advertise your portfolio, a bit like mine at KeyphraseDomains.co.uk.

Thanks for your reply, its making me realise that I am probably the best person to sell my own domains.

I think the most valuable is ipcctv.co.uk to you it may mean nothing, but to the security industry its almost as good as cctv.co.uk, I was offered £5000 a few years ago for the name but at the time had big ideas for it. Also 3gcctv.co.uk I have been offered £1000 for that in the past too.

I actually thought cctvpro.co.uk would not be worth a great deal, maybe upto £500. I think thats what makes it so hard for me to get my head around.

Are domain appraisals really worth bothering with?

In general I would say no. You are better off doing the research yourself so that you can value your own domains. In case you didn't know, there's the site domainprices.co.uk for reference.

If anyone says they'll buy your domain providing you get a valuation, then I expect you're aware this is a common scam.

Also, just to add that starting to send out letters is also a great way to get a feel for the market. You'll soon learn how good your domains are depending on the responses you get back.

Thanks will check it out.

Regarding the scam, I had my domains listed on sedo and within 2-3 days I got an offer on one which turned out to be the appraisal scam, I think thats how I found this site.
