I have been investing into .com/.net/.org expiring domains for a while now but have never gotten into the .co.uk. Please can you provide a breakdown of the process of buying dropping .co.uk domains.

Thanks in advance!

When .uk domains drop they are caught by drop catchers. (Have a look through the drop catching domain names section)

Some of the catchers work privately and only catch domains for themselves however, some catchers offer a public service where you can book domains that are due-to-drop for a small fee (Normally £30-50 including the registration fee).

Here is a recent list of people offering public catching services.

Most people will compile there own drop lists of domains due-to-drop however, DomainLore offer a free daily drop list.

Have a read through the forum as bensd has indicated.

I doubt anyone is going to enthusiastically tell you how to go about it, as it just creates more competition.

Just read throuhg the threads as it's all been discussed before.
Get a tag from nominet and membership, register for dac access,
pick a name, poll nominets server til it drops, send a request to register it, if your first in line it's yours.
sounds easy doesn't it! :D
