It has been announced this week that new rules will be coming into force which will affect the ways in which websites track information about their visitors.
From May 25th, businesses will need to gain “explicit consent” from web users to be able to track browsing information, known as cookies. Businesses however also use cookies to tailor advertisements to match a visitor’s behaviour.
