Hi,

I need co.uk drop lists. If you provide these lists please contact me. This is such a confusing subject. I can't find any list anywhere.

Thanks

domainlore.co.uk provide free drop lists if you register

I just registered with domainlore.co.uk but I don't understand the following:

The publish lists 7 days ahead. I have seen Edwin (another acorndomains member) booking slots 14 days advance (see here). If lets say example.co.uk drops and Edwin has already booked 15 slots with 15 different dropcatchers and then I go and visit domainlore.co.uk a week after that, what chance do I have having a shot on the domain? I would say none.

How can I beat Edwin and others unless I have those lists a month in advance? It seems impossible because of the way the dropcatching works (people are booking exclusive slots for specific domains much earlier).

The only way to beat Edwin, is to put in the level of work and commitment he puts in :)

If you want "the best" drop lists, then you'll need to roll your own system as there are T&C's imposed by Nominet on release of sections of their database.

You have to make your own lists. Our in-house list (175,000 keyphrases) has taken 6 years to build, on and off. It's quite a chore, but it does give a small but handy edge afterwards quite legitimately (as you point out, it lets us book ahead everywhere before most if not all of the "public" lists show people what's going to drop)

Edwin I thought I read before that you aren't a Nominet member. If that is correct how did you manage to query the DACs to build up your list? Obviously if this is proprietary just tell me to mind my own business - not looking to replicate just curious

We've been a member for a while now, and before that I used to get people to run one-offs on our keyword lists and email me the results. Obviously that meant they also ended up with a copy of our lists, but so far I've seen no evidence that the people in question exploited that for their own gain.

BTW, it may take some digging, but I know that in the past I've posted quite a number of times to explain several key ways we built up our in-house keyphrase lists. I'm not going to repeat myself here, it's all in the board archives.

Yes I'm sure. It says so on the homepage.
