Admin,

Isn't it about time you let Namedrive advertise on the site again?

Surely they've been ticked off enough by now for whatever they did?

Perhaps not let Sedo advertise until they take their lying "no minimum commission" ad off their front page?

Is there a ban ? If so why?
There is no ban, Ed and I get on fine. Ed provides loads of great support for members using Namedrive for parking and we support him with his own dedicated section at zero cost.

Our advertising is based on financial performance which we review from time to time.

We have some interest from other companies too which are under consideration but we want to limit the number of ads as much as possible.

Your saying that because ND has their own section they can't advertise?
(yet some of these other ridiculous companies showing their ads on here can?)

or was that a veiled threat that they shouldn't ask or they will lose their section?

Or does sedo pay for their section.

Or is there some other relationship going on with sedo and this board that your not prepared to disclose?

or was it that sedo gave that 2% for the exclusive membership section in return for exclusivity?

Am I getting warm?

It is true though isn't it admin that there is a ban?

I haven't banned ND, all intended advertising slots are currently full, when they become free again the top bidder can have them, ND, you or anyone (if the ad makes sense to show it here, I wont show adult services etc no-matter what incentive they might offer me).

I have had advert requests from other companies and turned them away too for the same reason - I dont want to litter the site with ads. I used to have Trade-Doubler, Affiliate Window and additional Google ads just under the Nav Bar, I removed all these and just kept the couple of top earners.

I though I was doing right by the site in knocking off what doesn't make me the most, reducing the number of ads whilst making me the best return. It seems you think otherwise.

I am not against ND, I have a section dedicated to them and show their banners on domainprices.co.uk, nameblog.co.uk, ......

Sorry I haven't posted on here. The last time I saw it was on Friday when it was at about 'I second that', so I didn't know there was all this discussion.
As Admin has said, we get on fine. I have said repeatedly in public and private that, without this board, we would, even now, have achieved less in the UK market than we have, so I have nothing but gratitude.
Whowever Admin decides to have advertising on here is purely up to them. To be honest, I'm happy not to have to spend hours building our fun little banners every month ;), enjoyable though it is.
We'd be very happy to be back on here when the advertising is reviewed, but we'd rather be there on merit rather than pressure :)
