Wanted: Website Review My latest mini site

Hi Guys

I have now almost finished the latest version of my minisite script, decided to use it on my Godparent Gifts domain.

GodparentGifts(.co.uk)

When there are limited results the page does go a little long for the content but I have a random banner updater coded in the top right corner for affiliate banners so if you could let me know if its working well (showing a different affiliate banner randomly) would appreciate it.

Do you use a CMS or is this static html? What program do you use to make it? As far as mini sites go, I'm quite impressed. It's very clean, and intuitive. Plus there's the multimedia element, and the simple yet effective and modern looking logo and well placed ads. Nice colour scheme too. Nice all round really

Wow, thanks thats really great.

The php generates each page, hoping it will help with indexing, and the latest searches section at the bottom stores generated page links so hopefully will help too.

Its coded PHP rather than CMS, but I have a simple control php file and ads php file that is easily edited using wordpad. I do all the graphics myself so really glad you like it.

Thanks again for great feedback, will be developing more of these scripts in 2010 so feeling inspired to develop more, but for now I can use this code on almost any keyword domains I have.

I really like this niche. The design does the job, its not spectacukar, but it doesn't need to be it does the job!

Your target market of god parents is great, slightly older market (30+) who are less familiar with mini sites and are more likely to convert on your ads!

Good Job!

p.s. no offence to anyone over 30, just lets face it if your average 17 year old comes across this type of site, their bounce rate will be significantly higher!
