Wanted: Domain Appraisal my first uk: curtain.org.uk

Why do you think GLOBAL search numbers are relevant to a UK-specific domain extension?

well guess there was a reason this one was dropped...... maybe somewhere sometime some distant land a home will be found for the ol' curtain ..

To be blunt, unless there is a specific UK organisational reason (and even then!) for a .org.uk keyword domain, you are wasting your money.

I'm not 100% certain of this but I may have started a thread on the values of .org.uk's or contributed to someone elses. The search on here is your friend whilst you learn. I'm sorry to say that in the reseller market there is VERY little value in ANY .org.uk almost regardless of how good it is. Even decent one word names. The only way to extract value from a decent .org.uk is to sell it to an end user who doesn't have the prejudice that domainers seem to have against the extension.

good to know thanks for the info guess im hanging my at on this one. im want to get into uks and am just feeling my way through it now. is cheapestgas.co.uk my only other uk any better? i want to develop it a bit first.
