i would be interested in your opinions regarding this domain.

i dont know that much about the uk-domain-market so any help would be appreciated

Leave the UK market to us best advice.

Dont think I've heard of model casting, might be big in the states but not over here.

Would be the same as me buying say for example

crisppacket.com when you saw chipspacket.com

Sorry only think I can think of at 2:40am

We call potato crisps crisps, and you call them chips, we call chips fries

Some words mean different to us than they do with you, some hobbies are more popular in one country than another.

Unless you know the trends or cultures theres no point of you invading the co.uk market, obviously a george bush fan though.

models, actors and extras go on castings... and casting calls


modelcasting.co.uk - doesn't really slip off the tongue, but definitely descriptive - and a 2 word generic and so if you develop it in the relative fields then it could be a very good name for a site.

Goes pretty nicely with my zcards.co.uk and zedcards.co.uk

I think they are called sedcards in parts of Europe - maybe Germany...

England, US and other English speaking countries it's zedcards

Funny thing is Google and the results it shows... there are a lot of sedcard keywords out there...

sedcard / 505,000 (massive difference here, although mainly non-Eng)
zedcard / 2,910

zed card / 1,080,000

"sed card" / 13,900
"zed card" / 28,600 (the only search zed card wins... but maybe the decider)

I guess the first 2 groups of searches are including results where 'sed' is part of another word and not a word on it's own...
