Hi

THIS DOMAIN IS A .CO AND IS A UK WEBSITE

I have the following website for sale: mobility cars
Stats: Here’s a small selection of keyword / Positions

Keyword Google Position
ford motability cars 6
ford motability 12
motability cars 19
mobility cars 8

Unique Searches:
mobility cars – 12,100 (8 )
motability cars - 5,400 (19)
ford motability- 2,400 (12)
ford motability cars – 260 (6)

I built this site as an add on for my last job, I’m no longer working there so looking to move it on, This is a unique opportunity to play around with some decent levels of traffic with some good page positions.

I’ve not really looked in to any routes to monetize the site i have in the last few days added Google adwords just as a trial but I’m sure you guys would be able to make some decent money off the traffic

I’m open to offers on this site

Thanks
Stuart

Am I correct in saying this is a .co and not a .co.uk

Yes this is a .co

All EMD .co's domain are ranking extremely well, infact the fly up the rankings (proven numerous times in the dozen sites/domains ive sold recently) Google is loving them.

Its been documented in the past couple weeks that EMD's are flying up the rankings with the lastest algo changes even when the content is lacking, there has been alot of sites with EMD's with very little backlinks way out infront of established sites with 1000's of quality links so its defo a time for developing your EMD's

All of that is irrelevant since you've posted this in the UK domains for sale forum, and .co isn't one.

If ive posted in the wrong place i apologise but i have posted many a website .co for sale in this section as its a UK based website

Again not being argumentitive

(Sorry i just read the full page description, all i saw was the UK webiste when i posted here, but i have sold many a site here with out this being an issue previously)

He has posted it in the "Developed UK websites for sale" forum and as this is a developed website which is targetting the UK market, I don't see what he has done wrong ?

Sorry, I missed that. Ok, best of luck with the sale!

I don't see what he has done wrong ?

not posting extension in main body of post OR title tends to waste people's time and just gets free traffic to link

also this section is a subforum of 'UK ONLY Domain Names For Sale' ...............

fair to assume it's got to be a .org.uk, .co.uk or even .me.uk
again .com would always be welcome in my view of course, but that should be limit of ext.

I appreciate its not normally accepted to post comments in a sales thread, and mods delete if you feel appropriate

In Fairness to Edwin and the rest of us, it should be made clear in the text that this is a.co domain. I appreciate due-diligence and all that. But when a posting is as wordy as is this one - why leave out such a relevant piece of information. I certainly wonder why

Thanks for the comments im sure you are aware that i have not intentionaly posted this website in this section to cause upset, i appreciate your comment but you state .com is welcome yet .co domains are as good as in my eyes and many others they have there place along side .com (in my opinion) they have ranked extremely well if fact a lot better then many UK domains.
I find it fraustrating that this thread has been hijacked in to bitching match when this is a UK website with a geo tagged .co it cant be much more UK but i understand that there maybe some dislike to the .co domain but they have proven there worth time and time again

*****why leave out such a relevant piece of information. I certainly wonder why******

Now this is getting stupid, i dont know what you are trying to say by this comment, that is bang out of order, im not after free trafic why would i be?? im looking to sell the site stupid comments like that are really offensive

I didnt add the domain exstention for no other reason then i am seeling the website, obviously any intrested party would see that it was a .co domain. again i apologise for leaving this out of the inital detaling but suggesting this was done for a reason is in my eyes disgusting and you have really offended me.

My god i was just advertising a website a UK WEBISTE for sale why some of you have turned it in to this is beyond me

It's not a case of dislike for the Columbian .co extension - I've got a few myself. I'm sure you wouldn't want any confusion to create any bad feeling.

I couldn't imagine anyone selling a .com .co.uk or even .org.uk website without mentioning the extension.

Again i am sorry man i AM SORRY i left it out!!!!! not to decieve in anyway

Can we just get back to allowing genuinely intrested parties to post

"I'm sure you wouldn't want any confusion to create any bad feeling"

No that is correct but if this matter had been brought up initially that it would be better to put the domain in the advert i would have done that but instead comments like the one you made in your previous thread i found extremely insulting you dont know me yet you make a comment that suggest i am trying to deceive buyers..

Anyway i just want to get back to advertising the website i have made it clear as day in my first post that it is a .co

Seems genuine to me.

Some people on here create sales threads and don't even mention the domain never mind the extension.

The mods should hone in on these.

Shouldn't be hard to find.

Thank you for the comment Caz

I appreciate i made a mistake by leaving this off the advert but this could of been resolved by a simple suggestion in a PM rather then spoiling my thread.

good luck with your sale
just wanted to clarify one thing for future, maybe admin can add a note for each section
but if you scroll to top of page there are the blue links, uk domains, uk websites etc.
so this section IS for .uk domains NOT .co

this is the section for non .uk domains
http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/non-uk-websites-sale.html

the sub heading is for non .uk domains and then for non .uk sites
even if targetted

maybe if you pm mod or admin they can move for you and remove all non-releveant posts so you can get back to a sales thread

May have changed your thread but I don't think it's ruined.

Your stats are excellent and seeing as mobility finance leases out nearly half a million cars it has lots of scope.

Maybe target price lists and you could triple your traffic in no time.

The cross selling opportunities for disabled equipment alone must be huge. In fact there is a rather nice fellow here on acorn who is quite a big player in this field so maybe he will see this thread?

Best of luck.
