Wanted: Domain Appraisal MobileDeals.net

Hi guys,

Bought this domain years ago with a plan to develop in into a mobile related site (obviously) but never got round to it.

Havent a clue whats its worth, any ideas would be greatly appreciated as not sure what to do with it and whether its good enough to use a broker to find an appropriate buyer etc. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hey J. When asking for an appraisal, it would be helpful for everyone if you could provide search volumes. Just means there aren't 20 people checking the keyword tool and you're more likely to get a response!

[Mobile Deals] gets 5.5k local exacts and the name is very brandable. Also, .com and co.uk aren't featuring on the homepage which is good news.

Defo think about emailing some end users to see if you can get full value which I would personally put at low-mid X,XXX. .net isn't ideal for the UK market but there is definitely some decent value there. I would even think about developing - there are a number of great affiliate programmes out there.

Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. I dont really have the time to develop it into an affiliate site so I think a sale is the way to go.

Wouldn't really know where to start in terms of finding potential buyer. Guess it suits a mobile retailer or comparison site.

I may just put it into an auction and see what happens, what do you think?

I gather the number of exact monthly searches plays an important role in a domains value.

I've just been playing around with the keyword search tool and found a domain of mine has 450k worldwide exact monthly searches and 90.5k exact local monthly searches. Low competition too.

Is this promising for value or not so great as it's a .org??

You're really best off approaching end users tbh regarding the mobile domain.

the .org - really depends on the domain but if there are that many exacts then its definitely promising. Feel free to drop me a PM.
