Contract running out so looking for a new mobile. As always im getting lost in a sea of adverts so after your advice.

Im sticking with T-mobile so only intrested with a phone out the box on this network.

My first thought was the tmobile G1 but found this cant be used as a bluetooth modem. My last phone was a SE W910i that I used as mobile modem, email, surfing, etc.

anythign you can suggest? must be able to connect as bluetooth modem and have built in standard web browser.

not with a 50% discount :D

The problem is that not all phones support bluetooth tethering. 2 way tethering seems even harder to lookup so hoping someone is doing this and can offer insight.

fyi SE W910i offers 2 way but looking for an upgrade/ newer phone.

Nokia E71 is an excellent phone. It will also tether and has great battery life and all the radio frequencies you need, including BT OBEX (enhanced rate 2.0), and A2DP. Also supports 16GB Micro SDHC cards which are available. A really great phone.

For the last 14 months i have had a Nokia n95 8gb and love it more now than i did when first got it

The missus upgraded hers ( if you can say that ) to a Nokia n96, the sound on it is crap, the OS is slow and she hates it

I tried out a Samsung Soul and it's a joke

The Nokia n95 8gb as 8gb memory, it's as loud a small cd player, it as msn, skype, adobe reader, real player, divx, full version of Google maps, a barcode scanner ( wow ) a 5 mp camera and plenty of other stuff

I won't be changing my phone any time soon

Am inclined to agree with Dale.

Nearly went for one of these but chose a BB Bold
