Hi just wondered on the rough value of lookingforholidays.com and .co.uk?

I also own:
lookingforflights.com and .co.uk

lookingforloans.co.uk
lookingforinsurance.co.uk
lookingforphones.co.uk and about 100 more lookingfor.co.uk domains?

Im trying to develop them but would love to know a rough price?

cheers

I'd say reg. fee undeveloped. They're three word domains, quite long and not domains that would get type-in in traffic.

I agree that the 3 word domain could be an issue for attracting accidental traffic but I think they may hold more value for more general marketing such as radio, tv and newspaper advertising.

especially as the internet is a research tool, I was hoping the lookingfor part may stick in peoples minds?

I agree that developing thems my best option though!

Cheers for your opinion jayl, anyone else got any thoughts?

thanks

Russell

Well they're definitely brandable so they would be easy to remember, but I don't think they're worth much to a reseller. If you can find the right end user maybe you'll get more.

Since you have so many you could make a network of sites, I'd try to keep them in some way related as you could cross link on them and generate more traffic to each site. For example, if you had lookingfordomains.co.uk, lookingforhosting.co.uk, lookingforservers.co.uk etc. then a network of sites is definitely a good idea - people who are looking for domains will also have an interest in hosting and dedicated servers, etc. The longer they stay on your network of sites the higher the chance you'll generate ad revenue.

Good luck!
