Hi all,
Although I haven't posted often, I am a regular observer of the threads on this excellent site.
I am wondering if you guys are familiar with all the drop-catching services out there.
I was quite happy occasionally looking over lists of suspended domains over a deleted.co.uk until it met its surely unfair demise. I usually then pottered over to dropcatcher and snagged the odd domain.
Now I am a it stuck and need to review my strategy. I am prepared to spend up to a couple of hundred pounds a month renting a DAC server (dedicated IP) with dropcatching software installed. It needs to be no more than 2 milliseconds away from Nominet's main name servers on a fast, dependable connection.
Ideally the service will also come with, or provide a means of obtaining via the software, lists of .co.uk domains in suspension.
I have my own Nominet tag.
I have tried emailing dachosting.co.uk but get no reply.
Any thoughts / suggestions / proposals?
