I'm tired of handling LondonCabs and this site will now be sold.
Receives about 100 highly targeted visitors / day and gets 3-15 bookings per day.
Most of the bookings are airport jobs, but some are within London.
I estimate it's fairly easy for a cab comparison company to make £1500-3000 a month from this site.
Current backlink will stay in place for at least 12 months.

Since there are only one driver at the moment, we are often unable to take care of all bookings.

how much does it make at the moment a month?

There is only one driver at the moment, but should rather be 4 or more (one for east, one for west, one for south, one for north London):
The driver only accept about 15-20 % of all jobs, mainly the longer airport jobs.

If you accept all jobs, it would be worth about £1500-2000 a month. If you work a bit with the site, it could easily improve to £2500 or way more every month.

right so its doing £350 or there abouts?

It varies. Best month about £2000 (last month). £350-400 a few months ago.

I'm lowering the price to £5k for a quick deal.

I hear you Max. Unfortunately, I don't have access to exact figures. Some of the reason include that the driver have not reported to me for 3 months now and I only see the incoming leads. I don't know how many phone calls he gets at this point.

However, I'm lowering the price to £4500.

How did it do £2k last month but you haven't heard from the driver for 3?

I am buying rev sites, but got to agree with Max, this is too fluffy at the moment!

You should open an account with a London firm, ask for fixed prices, send all bookings to them and you'll soon make more money a lot easier.

You have a *potential* gold mine but you're screwing it up with one half arsed driver.

Rob, sorry for not having proper stats. This is my estimate, based on the incoming leads and the confirmed bookings. But I haven't received the complete list including phone calls yet.

I own 100+ taxi sites, and the domain is worth around £500.00 - 700.00 if it is "wanted" by a company, and £300-400 otherwise .

Yes, that low.

Your "leads" will always be 80% quote requests, of which % might convert.

The money is not there on one domain, and it takes a massive footprint to get traction.

You are not the first to think there are millions of pounds to be had in the taxi game.

Sadly not the case.

Fairly sure khalid runs several taxi sites of his own, and does well with them.

I couldn't disagree with you more.

I've run stats on my sites and on one over 95% were bookings.

It depends where the traffic is coming from and what people are looking for.

If the site is being run as purely airport transfers there will be A LOT of quote requests but if it's being run PROPERLY as a taxi and transfer company you'll get repeat customers.

If I owned the site I'd be jumping on this really quickly before it gets a bad reputation and I'd be looking to re-launch it before the games.

Khalid: Thanks for your comments.

I've received 3 bids and are negotiating with them right now. Please close this thread, I'm not interested to receive any more offers.
