The site has a good reputation locally and doesn't have any strong competition. Good inbound links, serps, and brand awareness in the community. Will earn money in current format and good future earning potential and marketing opportunites.

Please PM for contact details

im interested too. i've a feeling i've come across this before and it's a very specific part of london that the forum is based.

but pm me to let me know. i may have mixed it up with someone else.

Still on track with 5% monthly growth.

Brum, I have sent you a PM

Woopwoop, I have also sent you a PM. This site has never been offered for sale before and is only advertised for sale on this forum. It is for a specific area but after all that is what a local community web site should be doing.

Still on track with 5% monthly growth. Traffic now over 25,000 per month and forum membership has just passed 1750.

Can you PM me details of site, what the £50 a month is for and what earnings are?

Thanks

Our web site is still on track with 5% monthly growth. Traffic now over 30,000 per month and forum membership is over 2000.

If you are interesting in acquiring this site I would be interested to know what your objectives are... whether you run a similar project, are looking to drive traffic to another site or want to take it on for its investment potential and build the site up.

Price expectations are very reasonable and the site is profit making.

PM is disabled

I would if I could - but you have disabled receiving personal messages from other members.

Ok, as Im pretty new to this forum, Ill try work out what I need to do to to receive PM's.

Thanks for trying.

Ill PM you when/if I work it out.

Andy

Just to update on the figures from October last year, the forum now has over 2300 members (+800 in 10 months). Wiki traffic has increased by 200% and generates higher per click adsense revenues.

Traffic has increased to 32,000 visitors per month (+9000 in 10 months) and growth is still approx 5% per month.

Since last year I have also sourced cheaper hosting plans for other projects and I can recommend them as suitable for the site. A new forum license is recommended by IPB to ensure you have support continuity (£100).

The site is profit making in its current format, so it will easily cover its operating costs. As it stands at the moment this is all that the site is actually tasked to do but it has the potential for a more commercial footing and higher income levels.

I have received several offers based on current financial performance. Please do not overlook the potential for added value and the goodwill of 10 years of work building up unique content, reputation and inbound links.

I am looking for offers in the region of £2000. Consideration will be given to those who intend to develop the site further and support local community interests.

Google Analytics reports are available if you have a Google Account.

The site is now listed on Sedo, as domain.com + content. Also included will be .co.uk and hypenated names (4 domains in total, 2x .com, 2x .co.uk)

I am happy to provide further information on the site. If you PM me for "more information" please can you explain what you want more information on. Thank you.

Url + Sedo Link

Hello,

Could you please provide me with the name of the site and the sedo link, thank you.

Regards,

Barry

Hello Barry

I tried to PM you the details but got this error... commerce.co.uk has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.

Please can you PM me your email address so that I can send the information over.

Server Stats

Just a quick snapshot of current hosting requirements:

php 5 and mysql 5

11GB traffic

400MB disk

MySQL databases x2, 52MB (forum), 6MB (wiki)

1 subdomain

Forum - Invision Power Board

Wiki - Mediawiki, plus IPBWiki plugin to use the forum for authentication

*new stat* based on Google Analytics it looks as though the forum generates 88% of the traffic to the site. It would be wrong to assume this is just 'chat'... the forum has structured sections for trader recommendations and restaurant/pub reviews so a fair slice of this can be considered "content".
