Letting.Online

As an American, I'm curious what Brits think of this phrase. Is it idiomatic? Is it suitable for a brand name or a website?

Please don't turn this into an argument about the new TLDs. I'm squarely in the middle of that debate already.

I am English and as a phrase it sounds perfectly good to me. Obvious it's about letting property. Doesn't sound at all awkward. So the only bone of contention is the extension and if you're happy with that then it's fine.

Idiom - An expression's figurative meaning is different from the literal meaning, e.g. she is pulling my leg.

Therefore, this is not idiomatic.

Yes, it's suitable for a website.

It could be used as a brand name, but personally I wouldn't, as it's overly generic and therefore can't distinguish itself for brand marketing.

Is the domain valuable? Not that valuable because of branding weakness as above.

Forget, Pretty much all extensions outside of .com and the local-country look-up.

When someone sees one of these contrived domains at 'real work' please tell me

The Overall effect (of the many extension release ) has been to kill .biz .info and any those with a half-life stone dead. so Now everything is Super-Concentrated on .com

I apologise for adding (against your wishes) the multitude of 'new extensions argument' But that is where you are playing - You can't be operating In that ground - then Say 'isolate Mine'

Bottom line is 'Extended (Even plausible) Extensions' = wasted money
