Hello,
I'm still whittling down the number of websites I have and this one is the one I'd like to sell next.
Anyone who wants to see the analytics for this can download it from the site. Go to the homepage and add /analytics.pdf to view it.
This site offers a bit more than simple affiliate earning potential, since it ranks very well in Google for an up and coming brand (Ciccia, which I can also give you the name of the wholesale company who will drop ship these at retail prices - ie, you can mark up the wholesale price by 2.5 - so a bag costing you £40 sells for £100 - see below).
It ranks in Google:
1st Ciccia Bags
2nd Ciccia Handbags
3rd Ciccia
3rd Leather Handbags
Ciccia are very much like Radley handbags - the designer at Ciccia was the Radley designer, she's set up with someone else to make her own bags.
The wholesale company are happy to drop ship the bags - so you take the order at full retail price, they ship the bag, you pay them at the end of the month at wholesale prices.
The wholesale company do a lot of other bags too.
We've also had a similar arrangement with Hempleman, and there are lots of smaller designers who'd work on this basis too (I'll tell you how to get in touch with them).
We have had a fair amount of sales from this site when the wife was in handbag business mode, but she now isn't interested and I haven't the time or inclination to update the site with new products or sort out the orders.
Even though the site has only old, out of stock styles listed on it we STILL get sales through it, though not as much as when the bags were the current ranges. I'm having to refund all current sales since the bags are no longer available.
The site has only recently appeared in 3rd place (a couple of weeks ago) for "leather handbags" and I've seen affiliate sales through Debenhams increase since then - this month its done £407 in sales through Debenhams earning £16 commission.
By contrast, if you're drop shipping the bags, £407 of sales would equal over £200 of profit!
If you're prepared to put in some effort with this, listing the new ranges of bags, increasing the ranges, and keeping it up to date, then I think it could earn a lot of money for the right person.
I've never had Adsense on it, that could perhaps earn money for you, but really the money is in drop shipping the bags and making a much larger margin than you'll get from any kind of affiliate or adsense deal.
I've been offered £3000 for this before (with some other handbags domains included in that price), I'm looking for a minimum of £2000 for this website (no other domains included), if there's any interest then please PM or post below.
I'll leave it running for a few days and see how it goes.
Thanks.
